Clear Flow Maintenance Ltd (company number 16901929, registered in England and Wales) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our registered office is C/O Advantax Accountants Ltd, Aurora House, 71-75 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 5SL. This is a registered office address only, not a trading address or a place to visit.
You can contact us about anything in this policy by email at info@clearflowmaintenance.com or by phone on 07923 933671.
When you submit an enquiry we collect the name, contact details, postcode, property details and description of the problem that you give us. When you call, we hold the phone number you call from and whatever you tell us about the job.
We do not ask for payment card details through this website. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out work, and keep records of jobs we have done. The lawful basis is normally that processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to perform that contract.
Where we keep records for accounting and tax purposes, the lawful basis is compliance with a legal obligation. Where we retain job records to deal with a possible later complaint or claim, the lawful basis is our legitimate interest in being able to defend our position.
We will not add you to a marketing list from an enquiry alone, and we do not sell or share your details with third parties for their own marketing.
We share personal data only where we need to: with our website and email hosting provider, which stores enquiry emails on our behalf; with our accountant for invoicing and tax records; and with a supplier or subcontractor where they are carrying out part of the work for you.
We will disclose data where we are legally required to. We do not transfer personal data outside the UK except where a service provider we use does so under appropriate safeguards.
The enquiry form on our contact page is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that the form is being used by a person rather than an automated spam program. To do this, Google collects information such as your IP address and how you interact with the page. This is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of spam.
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to measure how this website is used. Google receives information such as the pages you view, the device and browser you use and your approximate location, and processes it for us. The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Google may process this data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards, and the data is kept for up to 14 months. Our cookie policy has the details.
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed work, including invoices, are kept for six years, which is the period required for tax and for potential contractual claims.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask us to delete data where there is no continuing reason to keep it, to object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances, and to receive data you gave us in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, email info@clearflowmaintenance.com. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
This site is served over an encrypted connection. Enquiry details are sent to a business email account protected by a strong password and, where the provider supports it, two-factor authentication. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us.
Call and speak to the engineer, 24 hours a day, including tonight.
